Driftwood Interiors

I bought 2 identical mirrors from Driftwood Interiors and when they were delivered I found that one of the mirrors was faulty - the wall mounting points were badly positioned and so the weight of the mirror would not be evenly distributed across the mounting points, meaning i risked damaging a wall if one of the mounting points in the wall failed because of the extra weight on that side. I didn't want to try to reposition the mounting points myself as i might have cracked the backing or the frame on the mirror. I reported the mirror as faulty to Driftwood Interiors and had to chase them nearly a week later after having had no response. They asked me to send photos of the mirror, which i did, and that was the last i heard from them despite me chasing them a number of times. In the end i had to dispute the transaction via my credit card company and i got back the cost of the 1 faulty mirror but not the cost of the shipping (£16.50). Be warned that Driftwood Interiors do not comply with consumer rights.

The shelf arrived after over a month from order. To be honest I had forgotten I’d ordered it otherwise I’d have chased it up. The finished product looks nothing like the picture on their site. I expected some variation as driftwood but where the pictured shelf is slim and long what I received is chunky and rough (not smooth). I’m also not convinced it’s driftwood. Looks like wood that they’ve roughed up and smoothed for effect. Doesn’t have the look and feel of driftwood. Lastly the dimensions of the wood are wrong
