Son was sold BMW with a fault on it. Dealer took it back for 3 days no courtesy car, and failed to repair it. The car broke down, and has been off the road for the last 9 months while they dragged out the disputed repairs with the finance company. This caused my son to lose his job, have financial hardship and still had to pay for a car he couldn't drive. No apology and offer to put this right and no compensation for the out of pocket expenses and additional transport costs or inconvenience incurred.
