WE DON'T NEED YOUR BUSINESS!!!!
That about sums this mob up - Rude, unhelpful and bloody useless.
Day 1 - My bike cuts out on motorway heading to work. AA en-route and quick call to garage who are more than happy for my bike to be dropped off for them to look at. "Were open until 21:00 mate! - I will give you a call with an update when we have a look"
Day 2 - Nothing
Day 3 - I call for an update on my bike. We’re not quite sure what's wrong with it. We've spent an hour on it so far (£50 labour) to check the fuel wasn't contaminated. The guy who looked at it isn't around but I will get him to call you.
Day 4 - Nothing
Day 5 - Further call as I my previous call was ignored. The guy who is looking at the bike is on the phone. Can I get him to call you?
Day 6 - Another call made as I still hadn't heard from the garage. "We think it's the CDI unit - Let me get a price for you and call you back" (I priced a CDI Unit on-line within 30 seconds £20 NEW).
Day 7 - I call the garage again for an update. " You're bike is rare! We’re trying to source a 2nd hand CDI unit - The guy that's looking at the bike is off today. I will get him to call you.
Day 9 - I CALL ONCE AGAIN FOR AN UPDATE!!! "Listen pal, were really busy. We’re not sure what’s wrong with your bike. We've not had the chance to look! We do MOT's now and were snowed under"
RAGING to say the least I asked if they could do the decent thing and call me back once they knew how long it would take to look at my bike and the potential cost involved.
Day 11 - Still nothing. My wife was passing the garage so popped her head in to see if there was an update. The 3 blokes at the garage couldn't agree who was in charge basically told her they were too busy to look at my bike. It was agreed the best course of action was for me to collect my bike and go elsewhere. How can we do that my wife asked? The bike won't start! "THE SAME WAS IT WAS DROPPED OFF WAS THE RESPONSE!!!"
Day 20 - I still hadn't heard from the garage so I went in person for an update. My bike was parked up outside with a number of other bikes covered in bird dirt and dust. I asked if there was an update and told my wife had given them a mouthful of abuse and they hadn't done anything with my bike. Not great really!
At this point I had no choice but to push my bike out of the garage and called the AA for further assistance.
WITHIN 30 MINUTES THE AA HAD STRIPPED MY BIKE DOWN, IDENTIFIED TWO WIRES HAD SNAPPED FROM THE CDI UNIT AND FIXED THE PROBLEM.
I returned to the garage to retrieve my tool kit (Not sure why as they did no bloody work but the cowboys had my tools) and explain the AA had resolved my problem and the owner (Rab) I think shrugged his shoulders telling me "We don't need your business"
SHAMBOLIC CUSTOMER SERVICE AND I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS MOB BE BODY SWERVED AT ALL COSTS!!!
It is such a shame Paul (Dunfermline Motorcycles) has packed in. I used him for a number of years and got first class service from him.

Some time ago, i approached Street Evo to do some simple rim polishing on a front and back set.
They quoted me £100 to do the lot. So, i happily dropped them off and was told to call back in three days once their backlog had dropped.
Everything seemed great.
So, i called on the third day and was asked to call again tomorrow as the rims were still in the machine as they had been more difficult to do than they thought.
Now, im no novice at bike maintenance so i couldn't understand why two wheels with absolutely no pitting could cause problems.
So, i called the following day to check progress and was told the shape of the wheels hindered the job getting done right.
When i went to get them, after travelling all the way from Aberdeen, not only did he want £200 for what was clearly a semi decent but not amazing job, he also hadnt done the whole wheels or kept an even edge at the seems either. What i got back was something i could easily do with a dremul in a couple of hours. I settled the bill at 120 after saying if he wanted 200 for the job he agreed as 100, he could keep the wheels as it wasnt worth what he demanded.
Not only did he demand the money but he was also swinging around a baseball bat to intimidate.
Still, he agreed 120 and i got out off there.
When i got home, i finished the wheels myself and vowed never to go back there.
He seems to be due a lot of poeple money and treats everyone like dirt in a business you just cant afford to do it in.
I wish i could give zero stars but since i cant i will instead recommended nobody goes there.
They have nicknamed him Ghandi The Polisher which i can only assume is because he is better at that than mots which should also tell you something about him!
